PICKI MUSIC PRODUCTIONS was Originally conceived, owned and operated by Pete Carr a recording artist, Multi-Musician, and accomplished songwriter. His publishing company is called PICKI JAMS, affiliated with BMI. Some of his clients include legendary bluesman Little Milton, MOTOWN Greats Smokey Robinson & Mickey Stevenson, Mary Wilson of The Supremes, The late, great, legend and radio disc jockey Jack "The Rapper" Gibson, World Famous Recording Artists, THE COMMODORES, plus many other independent recording artists, radio stations, advertising agencies and movie music supervisors.

Pete has produced many CD projects for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, including THE BLUES YEARS WITH THE GREAT LITTLE MILTON, EDUCATION, CULTURE & COMMUNITY, & JOHNNY PATE: UNSUNG HERO OF POPULAR MUSIC, to name a few.

PICKI MUSIC PRODUCTIONS Through an affiliation with MASTER SOURCE has placed music on the CBS Television Show, NASH BRIDGES and the HBO DOCUMENTARY, CORNERSTONE. Pete has written custom music for various clients including World renown record producer CORY WADE for FUTURE WORLD ENTERTAINMENT and  the theme song for the TV Show, SOUL OF THE CITY.

Some of his industrial clients include BANK OF AMERICA, RGA NEW YORK and ABERNATHY & ASSOCIATES, Washington, DC.
